Monday Listicles

Oct 28

Again, here’s another one I haven’t participated in of late, but today I’m forcing myself yet again to be creative.  This week should be fun, and I may have a difficult time narrowing it down to my favorites.  Or maybe I’ll list 20, just to be difficult.

Ten Firsts:

1.  First car:  Mazda 323, white, manual transmission, license plate 2EQR483

2.  First sexual experience:  Just kidding.  Hahahahaha!!!!

2.  First kiss:  Kelly Carmack.  I was like, “THIS is what all the hoopla’s about?  Ick!”  I figured it out.

3.  First true and pure love:  Noah James

4.  First tequila:  Club Med 1989.  Also my last tequila.

5.  First concert:  Michael Jackson Thriller

6.  First computer:  Commodore 64

7.  First day of Kindergarten everything was hunky dory.   Second day I decided it wasn’t for me, and barfed in front of the school.

8.  First blog post:  August 5, 2010

9.  First tattoo:  Casper the ghost (give me a break, I was 19) on my lower right abdomen.  Pregnancy distorted the hell out of him, poor guy.

10.  First movie star crush:  Rob Lowe in “St. Elmo’s Fire.”  I think I had 3 posters of him.  What a babe.

  1. Oh my goodness, I had the exact same reaction to my first kiss! I also figured it out eventually. ;)

It was so gross Jo. I was mortified. Then the next guy came alone and I was like, “Woohoo!! Okay then!!”

  2. Thanks for not sharing your first time, I know too much about you already. Also, you saw Michael Jackson? I’m so jealous. So totally jealous.

For the record, I have written an email about my first time that I will be sending in five minutes. And it may have coincided with MJ (not).

  3. My first car was a Mazda 626 .

And I too was in love with Rob after that movie!

My mom had the 626. We loved that car. I learned to drive in it. And how could anyone NOT love Rob Lowe playing the sax?

  4. I’m with you on the tequila. You have to respect that stuff. And so jealous. You saw Michael at the top of his game. That must has been awesome.

MJ was spectacular, seriously. The smell of tequila, over 20 years later, still makes me gag.

  5. The image of poor stretched out Casper is now all I can think about. What a nice distraction from the hurricane force winds and torrential rain. Funny and fun post. Erin

:) So glad I could put some happiness in this sadness. And to add to the happy, he also has stretchmarks. Yay!

  6. THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

:) Even the tattoo part? Because I remember you not thinking that was fun when I showed you. I guess you’re just laughing at me now.

  7. Love the school barf story. And Rob Lowe in St. Elmo’s Fire? I still heart him!! I too am envious you got to see Michael Jackson!

    • Kimberly Pugliano /

My mom loves the barf story too. She reminds me often. And Rob Lowe just never gets not hot.

  8. M.J. was your first concert? That’s prime simply because everyone I’ve ever seen live…is still friggin’ alive!

    • Kimberly Pugliano /

I haven’t been to a lot of concerts…but yes they are all still alive. MJ was the best.

Everyone else I’ve seen is also the same ethnicity as when I saw them. Bam!

  9. Bahahaha a stretched out casper. For some reason that makes me giggle.

    • Kimberly Pugliano /

You should see him, Audrey. He has stretch marks on his gigantic head. It’s really quite sad. Yet still funny!

  10. I’m still laughing at, “What a babe.” Why don’t people say that anymore??? We should bring it back.

    • Kimberly Pugliano /

I second that emotion. My husband is a total babe. So is Adam Levine. That’s right, I said it. Adam Levine and the new kid on “Parenthood” are babes. And David Beckham.

  11. Love this list. I often wondered what happens to tattoos on girls bellies during pregnancy. :)
