Stasha, Stasha, Stasha. This is her topic this week:
TOP 10 AUTUMN MUST HAVES
Well I live in California. This is a screen shot from my phone from Friday:
Obviously my list isn’t going to be the same as people who live on the east coast, but I do have a list, based on our current Autumn:
1. Sunscreen.
2. Saturdays at the pool with mixed drinks and a cooler of ice with beer.
3. Dinners at restaurants with outside seating.
4. Shorts and a tank for my runstreak.
5. Suntea.
6. A/C during the day and fans in the bedroom at night.
7. Hazelnut creamer in our coffee just as a tease.
8. Green leaf-covered trees.
9. Flip-flops.
10. Dreams of seasons.

Great list – and guess what? My A/C is still running as well. That’s right, it’s HOT in Canada and it’s not just me
I think it IS just you. I’ve BEEN to Canada (east coast) during the fall. It wasn’t HOT.
Sounds wonderful, but I think I would miss the change in seasons. But flip flops to the bus stop would be delightful.
I really wish we had seasons, but I do enjoy always wearing flip-flops.
So to sum up, same as the summer one
I am kinda happy for you though. And swing by anytime you miss rain and the seasons …
I’ve heard SO MUCH about your home that I’ve been instructed to go some day. I’m sad my step-dad’s uncle and aunt don’t live there anymore!
That sounds great! Some of that would be perfection right now! But I guess I’d miss the seasons if I lived in California =)
Yeah, that’s the bad part. I’m over the heat, to tell you the truth. This is ridiculous.
The cool nights with temps in the 60s sounds perfect!
I never cease to be amazed at the differences in weather throughout the world. We may share some of those high temps this week, but it would be atypical.
I wonder of the fall scents of Scentsy or Yankee Candle smell differently on an 80 degree day.
Funny, the scent I’m warming today actually smells like autumn. It’s like an oxymoron smelling that when it’s 80 degrees and the A/C is running.
Triple digits today and tomorrow. At least you have a/c. It’s gonna be one of those days I consider breastfeeding in the car.
You can breastfeed at my house. You can have the whole downstairs while I work. Or you can go to your parents’ house and be spoiled. hmmmmm…
Love your list. Although I am tired of the heat, I definitely want fall not winter.
Me too. I’ll never forget New England. Even as a kid it had an impact on me. SO PRETTY.
Oh man, you’re making me so homesick!!
Come back! We’ll leave the light on.
A great listicle.
#10 is my favorite! Great list. Enjoy your “season”. Erin
Thanks Erin. I’m trying. I’ve been enjoying it for SO LONG.
Haven’t turned the A/C on in two weeks and last night, we slept with the window open and now I think I’ve caught a damned cold! If it weren’t for the earthquakes, I’d move to California in two seconds.
Great list, especially the last one. As much as I hate winter in Chicago, I just love the seasons.
Well, you totally live in a horrible place. Sunscreen, pool, shorts…say no more.
It’s rough.
Don’t feel too sad – I’ll send you a box of snowy slush from my driveway in January.
You’re a giver.
