PATRIOTIC

Our neighbor’s flag.  I think she’s beautiful.  SOOC.

VIEW FROM ABOVE

Poor Hot Joe threw his back out and was at the doctor by 8:15 a.m.  A double shot of Toradol, a couple of rounds of pain medication and a muscle relaxant later and my husband who never naps was out cold on the couch for hours.

MOSAIC

This is made up completely of photos from Noah’s adoption day.

SOMETHING TINY

Daisy’s tiny 3-week-2-day-old fingers.  SOOC.

VIBRANT

I took a couple of pictures of bright pink flowers and then walked past this and was stopped in my tracks.  That beautiful blue!!  So vibrant, without any editing.  SOOC.

  1. What does SOOC mean?
Did you take all of these photos with your iPhone, Kim? I am amazed at the quality. The flag is gorgeous, and my heart goes out to Hot Joe and his back. I hope his back is feeling better.
The blue is certainly vibrant (reminds me of Hot Rob’s eyes). And the mosaic is beautiful and sentimental. Yeah, safe to say you knocked this one out of the park!

Every photo is taken by me with my iPhone. SOOC means straight out of camera, without any editing/enhancements. You know I enjoy this challenge every week.

  2. I love these. Mosaic is precious and those tiny hands are way too adorable!

As always, a great job. You are just terrific at finding the write picture for each word. I might start trying to do this myself. Of course you and Noah were my favorite. I knew you would use Little Miss Daisy in there somehow.

As long as I don’t use her face; that’s not my job but Syl’s. Thanks Mom.

  4. The tiny hand shit is so precious. Miss that since my babies are teenagers.

  12. That “Tiny” hand kind of threw me off because it didn’t look so…tiny – up close. Maybe I need to go to bed.

I thought so too!! It really is teeny tiny; it just looks huge.
